Prescription Request
If you have seen the doctor in the last 6 months, you may order a repeat prescription by using our Patients’ Portal online or our Better Health Outcomes APP. For more information, please go to our App information page.

Please allow up to 48 hours for your request to be processed. The Doctor will send your prescription to your chosen pharmacy and we will notify you via text.
If you require an urgent same day prescription to be sent please contact reception on 03 – 3583 526, the charge is $35.
If requesting on a Friday please make sure this is done by 4 PM as we cannot guarantee that it will be sent by the weekend.
Update 4th February 2026 – Prescribing Practices: According to the Medical Council of New Zealand, GP’s should use their clinical judgement to assess individual patient risk and clinical need when determining prescription duration. This includes considering whether a patients condition and/or circumstances require closer follow-up and therefore shorter prescribing intervals. If a doctor asks to see a patient regularly for prescriptions, this is clinically warranted and aligns with best practice.
If an appointment with your doctor is necessary to re-assess your condition, you will be contacted by email, text (SMS) or telephone.

Payment is appreciated within 7 days and can be made by internet banking or at the surgery. Late payment will incur an accounting fee every month of $10.
